Музей колоколов находится в городе Валдае Новгородской области на улице Труда в памятнике архитектуры XVIII века церкви Великомученицы Екатерины. С момента открытия входит в состав Новгородского государственного объединённого музея-заповедника (НГОМЗ).
Национальный парк «Валдайский» создан 17 мая 1990 года с целью сохранения уникального озёрно-лесного комплекса Валдайской возвышенности и создания условий для развития организованного отдыха в этой зоне.
