Chandra Parbat II (Hindi:चन्द्रा पर्वत II) is a mountain of the Garhwal Himalaya in Uttarakhand, India. Chandra Parbat II standing majestically at 6,728 metres (22,073 ft). It is 44th highest located entirely within the Uttrakhand. Nanda Devi, is the highest mountain in this category. Chandra Parbat II lies between the Suralaya and Sweta Glaciers. It lies on the eastern bank of the Suralaya Glacie

Kalindi is a mountain of the Garhwal Himalaya in Uttarakhand India. The elevation of Kalindi is 6,102 metres (20,020 ft). It lies 1.1 km North of Avalanche Peak (India) 6,196 metres (20,328 ft) its nearest higher neighbor. Mana Parbat II 6,771 metres (22,215 ft) lies 4.2 km NNW and it is 6.1 km NNE of Chandra Parbat I 6,739 metres (22,110 ft).

Gangotri National Park is a national park in Uttarkashi District in Uttarakhand state of India, covering about 1,553 km2 (600 sq mi). Its habitat consists of coniferous forests, alpine meadows and glaciers. Gomukh at Gangotri glacier, the origin of the river Ganga, is located inside the park. Gangotri National Park was established in 1989.
