It accommodates up to 8 guests and offers a unique combination of paddle-in and road access via Anderson Branch Road, making it accessible to both paddlers and bikepackers. The campsite features a covered pavilion, picnic table, fire ring, and composting toilet, with direct river access via Big Pine Creek. Situated upstream of Big Pine Road where Section 8 flows into Section 9, the site is positioned roadside and out of the floodplain, providing a primitive yet well-equipped camping experience on the French Broad Paddle Trail.
