Aktiv-Station Creuzburg is a bivouac camping area located along the Werra River in the medieval town of Creuzburg, approximately 9 km from Eisenach in central Germany (at Werra River kilometer -18). The facility accommodates guests with basic tent camping (bring your own), caravans, and motorhomes from May to September. It features a chemical toilet, parking for vehicles, power supply, and a kiosk with beverages and supplies. A beer garden and dining hall provide food service, with breakfast available by reservation. The site serves as a base for paddling activities, with canoe rental and shuttle service available, and is well-positioned for cycling and hiking in the surrounding nature reserves.
