Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre
Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre is a 260-hectare property in Wainuiomata operated by Scouts New Zealand, approximately 40 minutes from Wellington City. Set in native bush and parkland, the facility provides cabins accommodating 4–12 people and numerous camping sites with separate ablution facilities at either end of the property. The centre features indoor halls with commercial kitchens, a refurbished swimming pool (seasonal), and a range of outdoor activities including flying fox, abseiling, confidence courses, lake kayaking, and tramping.
