Der Schlangenberg ist ein 276 Meter NHN hoher Hügel in direkter Nachbarschaft des zu Stolberg gehörenden Stadtteils Breinigerberg. Er war im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert eines der Zentren des Galmeiabbaus in der Region. Heute trägt das den Hügel umgebende Naturschutzgebiet den Namen Naturschutzgebiet Schlangenberg.
