Camp Gecko
Camp Gecko is a 6,000-hectare private nature reserve located in Namibia's briar savannah landscape, 15km below Spreetshoogte Pass near Solitaire on the D1275 highway. The campsite offers seven tented accommodations (Hide-Away, Family, and Bush styles) and three individually designed campsites (Eagle, Moonlight, Hilltop), each with private sanitary facilities, private barbecue areas, and panoramic views of plains, waterholes, and mountains. All accommodations operate on solar power with water from private boreholes. Guest amenities include free WiFi, reception area, shop, natural fish pond for swimming, and access to hiking trails throughout the reserve. (via official site)

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 to 18:00, and check-out is from 07:00 to 10:00. Earlier or later times are available by arrangement with management.
Is there mobile phone reception and internet at the camp?
WiFi is available at the camp. However, there is no mobile phone reception on-site. Contact the camp via email or WhatsApp before arrival, as there is no 24/7 reception.

Guests can enjoy hiking throughout the reserve and excursions to Namib Naukluft National Park and Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park. The camp also offers wildlife observation and stargazing opportunities.
