How many children share a cabin and how much staff supervision is provided?
Campers live in cabins of 14-16 children with 4-6 dedicated staff per cabin. Cabins are separated by gender, and 95% have been newly renovated with pine interiors, hardwood floors, covered porches, and ceiling fans.
What is the laundry arrangement?
Laundry service is provided once weekly and is included in camp fees. Staff wash, dry, and fold all clothing within 24 hours. Hand laundry in cabins is not permitted.
How often will parents receive updates about their camper?
Parents receive monthly updates through May, then weekly updates during the summer months. New campers receive courtesy calls from unit heads, and parents can request updates anytime.
What is the refund policy if I need to cancel?
The $1,000 deposit is non-refundable, but the amount retained depends on cancellation timing: $250 before November 1, 2025; $500 from November 1 - January 4, 2026; full $1,000 after January 4, 2026. After May 1, 2026, no refunds are available.
Is medical care available on-site?
Yes. The camp operates an on-site infirmary staffed by one full-time physician and four full-time nurses with access to all camper health records. Haliburton Hospital is 12 minutes away, and all camp doctors maintain special privileges for expedited emergency treatment.
