Camp Wakpominee is a historic, 100+-year-old Boy Scouts of America camp established in 1920 and relocated to its current location in 1931. Located in Fort Ann, New York near Lake George in the Adirondack foothills, it occupies over 1,000 acres featuring a private pond (Sly Pond) and surrounding forest. The campground offers cabin and tent accommodations, with facilities including a dining hall (Gelder Hall), trading post, shower facilities, nature lodge, handicraft lodge, training center, and ranges for shooting sports.
