Urk (Dutch: [ˈʏr(ə)k] ; Urkers: Urrek; Dutch Low Saxon: Ürrek) is a municipality and a town in the Flevoland province in the center-north of the Netherlands with a population of 22,173 as of 2025. It is surrounded by the Noordoostpolder on land and is on the coast of the IJsselmeer. Urk was formerly an island in the Almere, an inland sea that would become part of the Zuiderzee in the 13th century
De vuurtoren van Urk is een 18,5 m hoge vuurtoren op Urk. De huidige vuurtoren werd van 1844 tot 1845 gebouwd en werd in 1901 met ruim vijf meter verhoogd. De verhoging was nodig omdat de in 1885 vergrote Bethelkerk het licht naar het oosten blokkeerde.
Het voormalige raadhuis van de gemeente Urk aan de Wijk 2 is in 1989 verbouwd tot museum.
