Der Distrikt San Marcos liegt in der Provinz Huari in der Region Ancash im zentralen Westen von Peru. Der Distrikt wurde am 3. Mai 1955 gegründet. Er hat eine Fläche von 556,75 km². Arteza is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huari Province, Huantar District. Arteza lies at the Qarwakancha valley, southeast of Andavite and Cayesh and northeast of Qarwakancha and Maparaju.

Maparaju is a 5,326-metre-high (17,474 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru. It is located between Huaraz and Huari provinces, in the region of Ancash. Maparaju lies at the head of the Cayesh valley, southwest of Cayesh and Artisa and northeast of Qarwakancha.

Cayesh es una montaña glaciar en la Cordillera Blanca en los Andes del Perú, de aproximadamente 5721 metros sobre el nivel del mar, se encuentra en las provincias de Huaraz y Huari en Áncash.
