Cobb River Campsite is a free campground located in Cobb Valley within Kahurangi National Park in the Nelson/Tasman region of New Zealand. Situated beside the Cobb River at the upper end of Cobb Reservoir, the site offers swimming and fishing opportunities. Access is via State Highway 60 at Upper Takaka, then 35 kilometers along Cobb Dam Road, which is unsealed, steep, and windy with some one-way sections. The campsite operates year-round but winter travel requires four-wheel-drive vehicles due to icy conditions. (via official site)
