Comers Rock Recreation Area
Comer's Rock Recreation Area is a historic recreation area located within Mount Rogers National Recreation Area in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests, situated 21 miles southwest of Wytheville, Virginia in Grayson and Wythe Counties. The focal point is a historic log picnic shelter built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The area provides primitive camping opportunities adjacent to this shelter, along with access to surrounding mountain recreation.
