Camp Morena is an inland training facility of Naval Base Coronado, in the Mountain Empire region of San Diego County, California. It is located near the town of Campo, to the north of Lake Morena County Park. Camp Morena was formerly used by the California National Guard, and later given to the U.S. Navy.
Morena Dam is a rockfill dam across Cottonwood Creek, a tributary of the Tijuana River in southern San Diego County, California. Originally completed in 1912 and raised several times afterward, the dam is one of the oldest components of the city of San Diego's municipal water system, providing between 1,600 to 15,000 acre-feet (2,000,000 to 18,500,000 m3) of water per year.
