De Fluweelengrot is een gangenstelsel in de Nederlandse gemeente Valkenburg aan de Geul. Het is ontstaan door mergelwinning. Het historische gangenstelsel bevindt zich aan de Daalhemerweg en is opengesteld voor rondleidingen.
D'n Observant of stortheuvel 2 is een kunstmatige heuvel op het plateau van de Sint-Pietersberg in de Nederlandse gemeente Maastricht met als hoogste punt +170,8 m NAP. De naam is afgeleid van het franciscaanse observantenklooster (Slavante), dat zich vroeger op de Sint-Pietersberg bevond, en verwijst tevens naar de mogelijkheid om vanaf de top de omgeving te observeren.
