Duinen Schiermonnikoog is een Natura 2000-gebied op het Waddeneiland Schiermonnikoog met de classificatie 'duinen'.

Het Westerstrand is een strand in het westen van het eiland Schiermonnikoog. De oppervlakte van het strand hangt af van de getijden. In het zuidwesten is een brede zandplaat, het Rif, die ontstond door de afsluiting van de Lauwerszee. Achter het Westerstrand liggen de Westerduinen. Het strand en de duinen zijn honderden meters breed.
Een Toeristisch Overstappunt (TOP) is een 'natuurlijk knooppunt', waar diverse fiets-, vaar-, skate- en wandelroutes beginnen. Bij elke TOP geeft een informatiepaneel met kaarten van de omgeving en borden de juiste richting naar de verschillende routes. De TOP's zijn meestal gesitueerd bij gratis parkeerplaatsen; sommige zijn bij een NS-station geplaatst, zodat ook treinreizigers van de TOP gebrui
