Ngurrungurrudjba (Yellow Water) Campground at Cooinda in southern Kakadu National Park is located approximately 3.5–4 hours drive from Darwin via Stuart and Arnhem Highways. The campground offers unpowered and powered camping sites in small and large configurations, each accommodating up to 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children, plus pre-assembled pop-up tents (sleeping 2 adults) with bedding included. Over 200 unpowered sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis during the year, with powered sites recommended for advance booking during peak season (June–September). Facilities include hot showers, laundry, swimming pool, playground, jumping pillar, restaurant, bar, fuel station, general store, and communal kitchen equipment.
