Egenhäuser Hütte is a youth group facility nestled in a former quarry near Egenhausen, Germany, operated by Verein zur Jugendförderung Rochus Spiecker e.V. The site offers a main hut accommodating up to 15 people with a separate sleeping room containing 8 bunk beds, plus a dedicated tent camping area of approximately 150 square metres. Facilities include a common room with stove heating, a fireplace room, a kitchen with gas stove, washroom, and a toilet with rainwater flushing system powered by solar lighting. Access is limited to organized youth groups only; vehicle access to the site is restricted to dry weather conditions with a final 50-metre walk from parking. Who can rent the hut?

What is the pricing?

Weekend rental (Friday afternoon – Sunday afternoon): €80. Weekday rental: €25 per day. Security deposit: €50. Prices are charged as a flat rate regardless of group size.

What do I need to bring?

Guests must bring drinking water, fuel for heating, bedding (mattresses and bedding are not provided), and waste bags.

How do I access the site?

Vehicle access is permitted only in dry weather. From the B19 highway near Schweinfurt, follow signs to Egenhausen and turn onto Geldersheimer Weg. Drive approximately 500 metres on the concrete path, then take the left fork onto a field path. Limited parking is available; drive carefully and do not drive into the meadow. The walk from parking to the hut is about 50 metres.

No running water is available at the facility. Guests must bring their own drinking water.
