Monona Terrace (officially the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center) is a convention center on the shores of Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin. Initially proposed by famed architect and Wisconsin native Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938, the 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) building opened in 1997 and attracts nearly 400,000 visitors annually.

Bascom Hill is the iconic main quadrangle that forms the historic core of the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus. It is located on the opposite end of State Street from the Wisconsin State Capitol, and is named after John Bascom, former president of the University of Wisconsin.
