Lake Magog Campground
Lake Magog Campground is the largest backcountry camping area in Mount Assiniboine Park, accommodating 40 tent pads on a bench above the west side of Lake Magog. The site features semi-enclosed and open-air cooking shelters, food storage lockers, grey water disposal areas, water taps, and outhouses. Located in the park's core area at approximately 2,160 metres elevation, it is accessed by helicopter, hiking, or skiing and serves as a popular base for exploring the alpine landscape and nearby glaciers.
