Lime Island State Forest Campground

Lime Island State Recreation Area is a 980 acres (400 ha) undeveloped state park in the U.S. state of Michigan. The recreation area is located on Lime Island in the St. Marys River near its mouth. The park has no facilities except 5 primitive boat-in campsites. Migratory Bird Sanctuaries are created in Canada under the Migratory Birds Convention Act. They are administered by the Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment and Climate Change Canada. As of July 2025 there are ninety-two Migratory Bird Sanctuaries in Canada and the first sanctuary in North America, Last Mountain Lake Bird Sanctuary, was created by federal order-in-council in 1887.

Fort St. Joseph is a former British outpost on the southernmost point of St. Joseph Island in Ontario, Canada, on Lake Huron. The fort consisted of a blockhouse, powder magazine, bakery building, Indian council house and storehouse surrounded by a palisade.
