Stegasteinen er en 3,3 meter bred og 31 meter lang gangbro, bæresystem av stål og kledd med massiv impregnert furu. Den 13 m høye konstruksjonen står frempå kanten av et stup og er et utsiktspunkt 640 moh. fra Snøvegen, fylkesvei 5627 Aurland-Lærdal, ned mot Aurland og Aurlandsfjorden. Den ble åpnet i 2006. Konstruksjonen er en del av satsingen Nasjonale turistveier i regi av Statens vegvesen.
