Assiginack () is a township in the Canadian province of Ontario, located on Manitoulin Island. An Ontario Historical Plaque was built on the grounds of the Assiginack Museum by the province to commemorate the Manitoulin Treaties' role in Ontario's heritage. The township is named after Jean-Baptiste Assiginack, an Odawa chief who supported the signing of the Manitoulin Treaty of 1862.

How do I make a reservation?
The resort emphasizes personal customer service and phone reservations. Call 705-859-3550 (10 AM–9 PM, 7 days a week) or email [email protected], though staff note they are currently backlogged with emails. The resort is not an online reservation system.
What is the cancellation policy?
For camping: 21 days' notice required; cancellations within 3 weeks incur charges of 1–2 nights or $100 per week. For cottages: cancellations within 3 weeks incur charges of half the rental fee plus taxes, minus the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable as of February 1 of each year.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Camping sites allow up to 2 pets per site; pets must be leashed off-site. Cottages permit only one hypoallergenic, non-shedding dog weighing 20 lbs or less, and this is only available in three specific cottages.
What payment methods do you accept and are there additional fees?
Visa and MasterCard (with 2.5% surcharge), debit cards ($1.00 processing fee), and cash (no charges). Debit Visa is not accepted. Credit card is held but not charged until check-in.
