Mapleton is a rural town and locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. It includes one of Queensland's largest Outdoor Education Centres (QCCC Mapleton), the Lilyponds, and historic Seaview House (St Isidore's Farm College), and has panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast. In the 2021 census, the locality of Mapleton had a population of 1,661 people.
Mapleton Falls is a national park near the town of Mapleton on the Blackall Range in South East Queensland, Australia, 95 kilometres (59 mi) north of Brisbane. The falls are part of Pencil Creek and drop 120 metres (390 ft). The waterfall became a forest reserve in 1938 and then in 1973 it was declared a national park.
