A small, primitive campground with three campsites situated along Sharps Creek in a Douglas fir forest within the Umpqua National Forest. Located in the Cottage Grove Ranger District approximately 25 miles east of Cottage Grove via forest roads (15 miles on Row River Road 2400, then 10 miles on Sharps Creek Road 2460, then 2 miles on gravel), the campground features only vault toilet facilities with no potable water, picnic tables, fire rings, or other developed amenities. This rustic, undeveloped facility accommodates tent camping only with a maximum vehicle length of 20 feet. The site holds historic significance as a former stopover for miners traveling to the Bohemia Mining District, and offers nearby hiking opportunities. (via official site)
