合歡山國家森林遊樂區，是一座位在臺灣南投縣仁愛鄉與花蓮縣秀林鄉交界地帶的國家森林遊樂區，成立於1963年。
奇萊山，其主山稱為奇萊主山，又稱奇萊山主峰，或簡稱奇萊主峰，位於臺灣花蓮縣秀林鄉富世村、銅門村與南投縣仁愛鄉合作村之間，標高3,560公尺，台灣百岳排名第20，地處中央山脈主稜北段，山頂有編號5984的三等三角點。儘管稱為奇萊山的「主山」或「主峰」，但其高度卻低於北側在中央山脈主稜脈往東的分支脈上，有一等三角點的奇萊山最高峰奇萊主山北峰（標高3,607公尺）。
瑞岩溪野生動物重要棲息環境位於臺灣南投縣，為1991年10月設立的自然保護區，並於2000年10月19日依據《野生動物保育法》公告為野生動物重要棲息環境。位於瑞岩溪流域之南半部，東以合歡山主峰至昆陽之稜線為界，與太魯閣國家公園相鄰，南邊鄰近台14甲線。
