Ngare Ndare Campsite
Ngare Ndare is an indigenous forest ecosystem at the northern foothills of Mt. Kenya in Meru County, Kenya, approximately one hour's drive from Nanyuki along the Nanyuki-Meru road. The site offers camping in two forest campsites equipped with running water, toilet, and bathroom facilities. Visitors can experience hiking through native forest, swimming in six natural azure pools beneath 30-foot waterfalls, walking a 450-meter suspended canopy bridge (the longest in East Africa), game drives, and wildlife viewing including over 200 bird species and all five large African cats.
