Priest River Campgrounds
Situated on the banks of Priest River, shaded by firs, cedars and pines, just upstream from the confluence of the Pend Oreille River, this recreation area offers access to one of the western U.S.'s largest natural lakes with scenic mountain surroundings. The campground features 20 campsites with flush toilets and hot showers, plus a day-use area with picnic shelter, playground, softball field, swim beach, and boat ramp. Located 1 mile east of Priest River, Idaho on Highway 2 near Oldtown, it provides excellent opportunities for kayaking, fishing, swimming, wildlife viewing, and birding in an area inhabited by bald eagles, osprey, and deer.
