Ainja (German: Fahrensbach) is a village in Mulgi Parish in Viljandi County in southern Estonia. It borders the villages Mäeküla, Sudiste, Karksi, Kõvaküla and Äriküla as well as Helme Parish.
Taagepera is a village in Tõrva Parish, Valga County, in southern Estonia. It has a population of 109 (as of 1 January 2011). The village was first documented in 1420 as Wafencul, and later as Waagenkül. The current Estonian name of the place is derived from the Baltic German Stackelberg nobility, who owned the estate from 1674 to 1796. Taagepera is known for its Jugendstil castle.
Karksi Parish (Estonian: Karksi vald) was a rural municipality of Estonia, in Viljandi County. In 2009, it has a population of 4,041 (as of 1 January 2009) and an area of 321.45 km2. After the municipal elections held on 15 October 2017, Karksi Parish was merged with Abja and Halliste parishes and the town of Mõisaküla to form a new Mulgi Parish.
