Sitzgruppen und eine große Liegewiese laden zum Verweilen ein. Auch Zeltfreunde fühlen sich hier wohl. Vom Schönsee aus kann man ausgedehnte Wanderungen unternehmen, z. B. auf den nahegelegenen Pleß.
