Deep Lake is a 33-acre (130,000 m2) lake in White River National Forest, in Colorado, United States. It is the site of Deep Lake Campground. Deep Creek flows through the lake.
Blair Mountain is the highest summit of the White River Plateau in the Rocky Mountains of North America. The prominent 11,465-foot (3,495 m) peak is located in White River National Forest, 17.5 miles (28.2 km) north by west (bearing 344°) of the City of Glenwood Springs in Garfield County, Colorado, United States.
Flat Tops Wilderness Area is the third largest U.S. Wilderness Area in Colorado. It is 235,214 acres (951.88 km2), with 38,870 acres (157.3 km2) in Routt National Forest and 196,344 acres (794.58 km2) in White River National Forest. It was designated a wilderness area in 1975. Trappers Lake, located in the north of the area, was the lake that inspired Arthur Carhart, a United States Forest Service
