Te Corner

Maungaturoto is a 282 metres (925 ft) high basaltic scoria cone, in the Kaikohe-Bay of Islands volcanic field in New Zealand. It was the site of a pā.

Tarahi is a 388 m (1,273 ft) high andesite volcano, in the Kaikohe-Bay of Islands volcanic field in New Zealand that was never a pā. Northwest of Tarahi is a smaller, 350 m (1,150 ft) basaltic scoria cone, Haruru pā, before the higher cone of Te Ahuahu. To its immediate east is Putahi and the location of a famous battle of the Flagstaff War adjacent to Lake Ōmāpere.

Te Ahuahu is a 373 m (1,224 ft) high andesitic basaltic scoria cone to the east of Lake Ōmāpere, in the Kaikohe-Bay of Islands volcanic field in New Zealand.

Te Waimate Mission was the fourth mission station established in New Zealand and the first settlement inland from the Bay of Islands. The members of the Church Missionary Society (CMS) appointed to establish Te (the) Waimate Mission at Waimate North were the Rev. William Yate and lay members Richard Davis, George Clarke and James Hamlin.
