Der Ellbachsee ist ein Karsee im nördlichen Schwarzwald am Südwestrand der Gemarkung von Baiersbronn im Landkreis Freudenstadt in Baden-Württemberg. Der See liegt rund 1,3 km nördlich von Kniebis (Ortsteil von Freudenstadt) und rund 5,5 km südwestlich von Mitteltal (Ortsteil von Baiersbronn). Von der im Jahr 2013 auf 921 m über NHN angelegten Aussichtsplattform Ellbachseeblick hat man einen Ausb
Die Sankenbach-Wasserfälle liegen südwestlich von Baiersbronn im Schwarzwald. Der Sankenbach stürzt in mehreren Stufen mehr als 40 m über die Karwand des Sankenbachkessels. Der Hauptfall wird gebildet vom Eck’schen Horizont des Unteren Buntsandsteins. Unterhalb des Wasserfalls liegt auf dem Boden des Kars der einst fast verlandete, durch Anstauung aber wiederhergestellte Sankenbachsee.
