Heldenstein (Site 6) is a backcountry trekking campsite located in the Pfälzerwald forest below Schänzelturm tower near Forsthaus Heldenstein. It offers primitive tent camping with a maximum of four pitches accommodating 2–3 person tents only. The site features a designated fireplace (Feuerstelle) but has no reliable drinking water. Access is by foot only—1.3 km walk from the nearest parking at Wanderparkplatz am Forsthaus Heldenstein. Mobile phone reception is available. Der Floßbach ist ein gut 1,5 km langes Fließgewässer in Rheinland-Pfalz und ein linker Nebenarm des Speyerbachs, von dem er die wesentliche Menge seines Wassers bezieht und in den er zurückmündet. Er fließt auf gesamter Länge im Siedlungsbereich von Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
