赤沢岳（あかさわだけ）は、富山県中新川郡立山町と長野県大町市にまたがる後立山連峰の山。標高は2,677.8 m。 富山県登山連盟の富山の百山の一つ。
黒部ダム（くろべダム）は、富山県東部の中新川郡立山町を流れる黒部川水系の黒部川に建設された水力発電専用のダムである。1956年（昭和31年）着工、関西電力（関電）社長の太田垣士郎指揮の下、7年の歳月をかけ、171人の殉職者を出しながら建設が行われ、1961年（昭和36年）1月に送電を開始し、1963年（昭和38年）6月5日に完成した。
剱大滝（つるぎおおだき）は、富山県中新川郡立山町にある滝。剱沢大滝とも呼ばれる。黒部川水系剱沢の中流にある大小9段の滝からなる落差150メートルの滝で、黒部峡谷の最奥部に位置することから幻の滝と言われる。
