Das Lullusfest ist eines der ältesten Volksfeste in Deutschland. Das Fest findet seit 852 in der Woche des 16. Oktober statt und wird auch als Bad Hersfelds „fünfte Jahreszeit“ bezeichnet. Die Besucherzahlen liegen bei 500.000 pro Jahr.
