Der Stellplatz liegt in Kaltennordheim in der Nähe zweier Einkaufsmärkte, des Radweges und des Feuerwehrgerätehauses, ca. 500 m vom Stadtkern mit Schloss und Museum über das ländliche Leben in der Rhön entfernt. Weiterhin laufen auch ständig Sonder-austellungen, wie z.B. über den Mauerfall und den Rhöndichter Andreas Fack. Das Freibad mit Pizzeria liegt in ca. 250 m Entfernung. In der Innenstadt laden ein Hotel mit Biergarten und 3 Gaststätten mit gut bürgerlicher Küche zum Verweilen ein. (via site)
