Yates Campsite
Hike-in tent-only campsiteOften described as an oasis in the metropolitan Orlando area, Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park is a favorite for its 17 miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding and bicycling, as well as its abundant wildlife and primitive tent-only camping. Hike-In Campsite 2 (locally nicknamed the Yates campsite) is located on the yellow trail, about a 2-mile hike from the parking area on Dallas Boulevard. Visitors will enjoy hiking or biking the trails and crossing the small bridge over the scenic Econlockhatchee River to reach the reservation-only backcountry campsites. The (via site)
