Avalanche Camp
Stein Valley Nlaka'pamux Heritage Park is a remote wilderness destination featuring several user-maintained backcountry campgrounds with 150 km of hiking trails and routes, cable crossings, and a suspension bridge. Located west of Lytton, approximately 185 km southwest of Kamloops and 290 km northeast of Vancouver, the park is accessible by foot only via the Lytton Ferry. Campers must be completely self-sufficient and prepared for all conditions—there are no developed facilities, no campfires, and visitors encounter grizzly bears, black bears, and cougars.
