Punta Palau Lighthouse (Italian: Faro di Punta Palau) is an active lighthouse located on the northern extremity of a granite promontory where, shaped by time, appears a natural sculpture that looks like a bear, symbol of Palau in front of the Maddalena archipelago on the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Palau est une commune italienne de la province de Gallura-Sardaigne Nord-Est en Sardaigne.
Le Capo d'Orso, toponyme italien signifiant littéralement en français « cap de l'ours », est une formation rocheuse d'Italie située dans le Nord-Ouest de la Sardaigne. Par paréidolie, sa forme fait penser à celle d'un ours ou d'un éléphant grâce à sa double arche naturelle et sa proéminence en surplomb. Il constitue le monument naturel Orso di Palau.
