Mount Hehuan is a 3,416-metre-high (11,207 ft) mountain in Central Taiwan. The peak lies on the border of Nantou and Hualien counties and is located within the far west of Taroko National Park. Hehuanshan is a popular destination in central Taiwan as the trail to the summit is wide, paved, and gradual, and only takes around 1.5 hours round-trip yet offers 360 degree views above the surroundings. 合歡山國家森林遊樂區，是一座位在臺灣南投縣仁愛鄉與花蓮縣秀林鄉交界地帶的國家森林遊樂區，成立於1963年。

瑞岩溪野生動物重要棲息環境位於臺灣南投縣，為1991年10月設立的自然保護區，並於2000年10月19日依據《野生動物保育法》公告為野生動物重要棲息環境。位於瑞岩溪流域之南半部，東以合歡山主峰至昆陽之稜線為界，與太魯閣國家公園相鄰，南邊鄰近台14甲線。
