Tröllkonuhlaup er lágur foss í Þjórsá, rétt austan Búrfells. Hærri foss Þjófafoss er nokkru sunnar. Eftir að virkjað var í Þjórsá við Búrfell hefur vatnsrennsli minnkað mikið í fossinn og er hann vatnslaus á veturna.
Þjófafoss er foss í Þjórsá, við Merkurhraun og austur af Búrfelli. Tröllkonuhlaup eru rétt austan Þjófafoss. Nafnið er tilkomið af því að þjófum var drekkt þar. Fossinn er um 11 m hár. Gljúfur Þjórsár neðan við fossinn er grafið niður í Tungnárhraunin, sem þarna mynda þykkan hraunastafla. Sjá má fjögur þeirra í suðurvegg gljúfursins. Neðst er Þjórsárhraunið mikla, þá koma Sigölduhraun og D-hraunið
