Llansteffan, is a village and community situated on the south coast of Carmarthenshire, Wales, lying on the estuary of the River Tywi, 7 miles (11 km) south of Carmarthen.

Llansteffan Castle is a privately owned castle in Llansteffan, Carmarthenshire, Wales, overlooking the River Towy estuary in Carmarthen Bay.

The Boathouse in Laugharne, Wales, was where Dylan Thomas lived with his family during his last four years between 1949 and 1953.
