Three Isle Creek Camp
A backcountry tent-only campground in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park with 16 sites scattered across two separate loops. The first loop is located amongst the trees above the lake; the second is situated 500 metres along the lake shore, offering scenic lake and mountain views. Sites are accessed via the Upper Kananaskis Lake Circuit/Three Isle Lake Trail, approximately 10.3 km from the North Interlakes Day Use area. Mount Worthington is located on the eastern side of Mount McHarg, in Height of the Rockies Provincial Park, and straddles the Continental Divide marking the Alberta-British Columbia border. It was named in 1956 after Lt. Col. Don Worthington who was killed in action in 1944 during the Second World War while commanding the 7th Battalion, The British Columbia Regiment.
