Mount Beatty is a mountain located on the border of Alberta and British Columbia on the Continental Divide. It was named in 1924 after David Beatty, a British naval officer of Irish ancestry who commanded ships in the First World War.

Peter Lougheed Provincial Park is in Kananaskis Country about 90 kilometres (56 mi) west of Calgary, along the Kananaskis Trail in Alberta, Canada. This park is within Alberta's Rocky Mountains. The park was originally named Kananaskis Provincial Park, but was renamed after Peter Lougheed, premier of Alberta from 1971 to 1985, when he retired in 1986.
