Wainora Campsite
Wainora Campsite is a conservation campsite located in Kauaeranga Valley within Coromandel Forest Park, serving as the trailhead for the Cookson Kauri Walk. The campsite accommodates tent camping only and has a maximum capacity of 100 people. Access is via a 7 km gravel road north of the visitor centre. Dogs are permitted when accessing the Cookson Kauri Walk trail. The site is one of nine campsites along the Kauaeranga River and offers attractive water views on the adjacent walking track.
