Dead Lake Platform
Dead Lake Island features two floating platform campsites (#1 and #2) accessible exclusively by canoe or kayak. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 people per platform. Each platform provides overnight accommodation with camping stoves permitted. Reservations are one night only, from 12 noon to 12 noon the following day. A portable toilet with disposable bags is required on the platform. All occupants must have Coast Guard-approved personal flotation devices and carry a compass, map, and flashlight.
