Jug Lake Platform
Jug Lake Platform is a floating camping platform located in the Upper Delta section of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, part of Alabama's Bartram Canoe Trail system spanning 170+ miles. The platform accommodates up to 8 people and is accessible only by canoe or kayak. It sits within an estuarine marsh and cypress-tupelo swamp ecosystem home to over 50 rare and endangered plant and animal species. Campers stay on the platform shelter itself and must bring all necessary equipment including a portable toilet.
