Hotoritori Campsite
Hotoritori Campsite is a riverside campground located in Coromandel Forest Park's Kauaeranga Valley, approximately 3 km north of the Kauaeranga Visitor Centre and 14 km from Thames. The campsite accommodates a maximum of 50 people and is one of nine campsites along the Kauaeranga River. It welcomes tents and motorhomes/campervans on a grassy clearing with year-round operation, including through winter. The site provides basic facilities (toilets and stream water) and offers access to mountain biking tracks that begin at the campsite, the Jasper Creek Walk, and Emerald Pool, a swimming hole on the river.
